Graham Engineering was founded by Bob Graham in the mid 80s. While working full-time at the aerospace division at the MIT-Lincoln Laboratory, Bob started to design and build high end tonearms in his apartment. With several patented designs Graham Engineering became one of the leading high end tonearm manufacturers.

Patents

Graham owns three US patents for its tonearm designs. One very special patent is the “Magneglide” magnetic stabilizing system which holds the arm in a very strong magnetic field in the lateral direction, while allowing free motion in vertical direction.
